Sql Server Programming :: xp_startmail: failed with mail error 0x8004010e


	xp_startmail: failed with mail error 0x8004010e Hi all, Yesterday we changed the account for the sending of emails and sending out an email is not any more possible. All needed steps are done to set up this new account. Already checked with Outlook if something strange with the account is happening, but haven't found anything [I can send out & receive emails through Outlook]. Also no Outlook client is connected to this mailbox. And I have no idea why it is not working. Finally found the solution. Delete the MAPI profile. Create a new one. Restart the computer. Log in with the account which is configured to be used with the Sql Mail. In the query analyzer do xp_stopmail xp_startmail Ready again!
