Description:   Large pharma company with over 50K employees. Great benefits and bonus plan.
Designs complex EAI systems and Web-related information systems solutions to address business needs. Projects are large in scope, typically cross-functional, technically difficult, often involving combinations of platforms with new software and technology. Provides comprehensive EAI and Web consultation to business unit and IT management and staffs at the highest technical level on all phases of the project development cycle. Analyzes business requirements, adapts existing application designs to scalable applications for the EAI and Web environment (projects are technically difficult, requiring innovative and creative solutions frequently involving multiple platforms, software, hardware, technology and tools). Makes written recommendations of EAI and Web-based solutions. Provides a linkage and continuity to business units, development, operations and technical support groups in testing and implementation of recommendations. Acts as an expert technical resource to client and development management staffs in all phases of the development and implementation process. Evaluates vendor proposals. Performs related duties as assigned or requested.

Receives general direction from the Web Application Development Manager. This position has no direct management responsibility, but is highly accountable for the effectiveness, quality and timeliness of project design decisions and how easily these designs can be implemented.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor degree in computer science or related discipline, at least eight, typically ten or more years of solid, diverse work experience in IT, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Requires excellent analytical ability, strong judgement and problem analysis techniques, in-depth knowledge of business units= functions and applications, and a broad knowledge of system and technology alternatives. Must be competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of EAI, Web and e-commerce system design and implementation. Requires excellent communication skills, analytical ability, strong judgement and management skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and IT management and staff.

Area of skill and Software:  TIBCO EAI Products/Tools, J2EE (JSP, Servlets, EJB), Enterprise Portals (BEA Portal), HTML, XML.  Modeling/Tools:  UML, RUP, Rational Rose, JBuilder, WebLogic Server 6.1 or greater, VSS or CVS, OS:  Solaris, Windows XP/NT.
