Description:   For a fast paced, rapidly growing client company servicing the pharmaceutical industry, we have at least one opening for a Clinical Project Director.  This position is a ground floor opportunity offering fast track career advancement.  Travel 50-60% both national and interrnational. Project Directors are responsible for the overall relationship management of client accounts ensuring that company is able to deliver quality projects and services on time and within budget through effective management of company resources. Project Directors share equal responsibility in customer satisfaction / relationship building with meeting project defined metrics. They are responsible for the day-to-day activities for the account from a services perspective. Project Directors have general oversight of all projects/services delivery and customer satisfaction related to the client. Client projects (studies) may span multiple Project Managers but the Project Director provides the oversight and internal focus for all client-related projects. In some cases, Project Directors may also have direct project management responsibilities. Responsibility Overview: Managing the overall relationship and expectations with a sponsoring client or CRO from a professional services perspective Through relationship building, grow companys penetration within the client via high customer satisfaction General oversight of the complete project development life cycle for all assigned client projects/studies Active participation in Professional Services roundtables to develop services proposals Oversight in the budgeting and engagement authorization process Oversight for invoicing authorization of work completed for the client Providing mentoring and guidance on project management methodologies for all assigned project managers Oversight and coordination of all overlapping project timelines and deliverables for a sponsoring client Assuring compliance with companys standard project management methodologies Managing assigned project manager resources on an ongoing basis Assuring adherence to all Professional Services SOPs and Work Instructions Providing on-going feedback regarding performance of all Professional Services team members Eventual direct management responsibilities for line of professional services resources directly related in support of sponsoring clients.
