Job Description
This individual will be responsible for performing Quality Control activities for the implementation of Lodestar solution and integrated systems.  This position will help design the testing processes for Lodestar

Principal Responsibilities:
    Member of the team to build Lodestar QC capabilities and improve the quality of the software development and delivery processes and outputs.
    Work with delivery teams to incorporate QC capabilities into their workflow and to ensure, from a quality control perspective, that teams meet quality objectives.
    Setup and run an objective test environment to provide performance, integration and functional feedback to teams on their deliverables.  
    Support and maintain quality infrastructure and tools.  
    Publish quality statistics, metrics and documentation against goals and objectives to management.
    Participate in the creation of the test scripts for the Lodestar Pricing and Billing modules

Core Qualifications:

    Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Business, or Mathematics.
    A minimum of 4 years of IT experience is required, preferably in an quality assurance environment.
    Solid technical skills are required (e.g. .Net, Windows, SQL Server, Unix/Linux, WebLogic, Maven, CVS, Cruise Control, database admin).
    Strong communication skills are required (oral and written).
    Ability to define and execute a variety of different types of tests (Unit, Functional, Regression, Interoperability, Integration, System, Configuration, Smoke, UI/Page, Performance, etc.)
    Ability to work as part of a team and a good work ethic
    Ability to write QA documents (test plans, procedures, test reports)
    Knowledge of Lodestar is preferred.
    Must be able to travel extensively at times
