Description:   Quality Assurance Analyst to perform various product-testing duties to assure specified guidelines are being followed. The analyst begins corrective action for procedural or processing deficiencies by making sure programs conform to documentation specifications; certifies that products are bug free and stable and works to develop, utilize and maintain quality requirements that include the development and execution procedures for testing and debugging programs.

Description:   Seeking a talented Quality Assurance Analyst who will help test software and web services dedicated to solving critical problems. The ideal candidate is sharp, conscientious, analytical, and investigative. Position Responsibilities:

Take ownership of projects from requirements gathering through deployment

Evaluate requirements and use cases; collaborate with technology team members and product directors to ensure that requirements and specs are complete prior to development

Create plans and scripts for functional black-box and grey-box testing

Execute tests, track test results, and issue detailed bug reports

Manage the QA testing for multiple projects/products concurrently

Position Requirements:

At least 2 years of experience in QA and testing

Ability to take projects from the requirements phase through commercial deployment

Ability to work in a fast-moving startup environment with dynamic requirements and active customer support

Excellent knowledge of Internet/Web technologies, such as web browsers, http, https, and ftp, as well as Windows and Mac OS operating systems

Experience using defect-tracking tools

Preferred Skills:

Working knowledge of basic Unix commands to navigate test environment and verify data

Working knowledge of SQL to verify data

Able to write scripts for Segue SilkPerformer

Experience with digital imaging workflow software, photography business, and photo agencies

Must be able to furnish test plan samples and test scripts as part of the interview process.
