Description:   This position involves the management of a sister company's client within the agencys network and their client, a major biotechnology company. This individual needs to have experience in managing a high volume account steeped in web-based software application use for the management of a large Speakers Bureau Program. The ideal candidate has multi-discipline experience with a technical understanding of web-based software applications and databases as well as business understanding of speaker bureau programs within medical education initiatives for pharmaceutical companies. This position is to lead the management of dedicated development team for a multi-million dollar client.

Core competencies:                
Provides support to a large internal and external clients including sales reps, healthcare professionals, and home-office users.  Identifies customer's needs (both current and future) and upgrade opportunities while providing a single point of contact for the customer.  In addition support will be required for sales teams with product demonstrations, defining business rules for internal/external clients, making recommendations on application evolution, and overall streamlining of processes to optimize productivity.

Responsibilities:
Maintain routine contact with internal/external client to provide a proactive level of strategic and operational insight and recommendations
Provide clients with information about future product directions, upgrade opportunities and future planning.
Prepare quotes and proposals for all potential sales of new and upgrade products
Define business needs and liaise with development team to determine functionality, project planning, and budgets
Develop business organically with internal and external clients to maintain incremental annual account growth
Assist in managing client change requests, new business opportunities, and application evolution
Conduct In-house and on-site demonstrations of product offerings to clients
Develop keen understanding of internal clients processes for managing  a large speakers bureau; understand end-clients business needs  
Ability to stay current on trends in market-related offerings
Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to utilize prior experience to manage multiple stakeholder client using a single platform for various technical and business needs
Ability to demonstrate, position and discuss a key software application in front of large groups
Ability to work professionally and cooperatively with many different people at various levels both internally and externally to accomplish responsibilities
Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within Healthcare and Information Technology fields.

Minimum Requirements
5-7 years experience in healthcare communication or technology-oriented field
Minimum 3 years experience in account management of a large speaker bureau account in medical education that utilized a web-application as primary means of communications
Understanding of Web Applications
Prior sales, training or presentation experience preferred
Proficient in the use of Excel and other MS Office applications
Strong communication skills (both oral and written)
May require up to 50% travel (Based in NYC, travel to CT, and CA)
