high resolution graphics

Hi All,

I'm considering Tcl/Tk and C for a CAD type application but I need to
produce high resolution images (300dpi or more in the png format ) of
images that typically drawn on a canvas at a much lower
resolutions.

Can this be done?  If yes, how would you do this?

Could I set the DPI for images and the canvas?  Would this be the way
to go?

Thanks in advance.

Not sure precisely what you want, but you may have a look at my tkpath
package:
http://tclbitprint.sourceforge.net/
and perhaps the surface command:
http://tclbitprint.sourceforge.net/tkpath/README.txt
